Had difficulty understanding most of the actors.

Pace was a problem for this low-budget love story. Audio issues/dialect of some actors prevented me from understanding a good portion of the film. I fell asleep, but woke up at the last third, liking the ending more than anything. Some serious editing would help the film's continuity because the story actually has a lot of potential. Too long.

Bad editing and poor chemistry cripple a film that otherwise could have had some interesting things to say about immigration and African culture. The last third saved this film from a poor rating, but if you go be prepared for a long wait for any kind of payoff, dramatic or otherwise.

I just saw Rag Tag at the Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. It was GREAT. I felt that the audience at the showing I attended really responded positively to the film (and it was a full house)…. The accents were certainly present, but they were by no means a hindrance. I am probably more challenged by a strong southern accent from the USA - and that's in my own country! Good luck with your future projects. I would love to purchase a copy of the film. Is that possible? If so, how do I go about doing that? Thanks for your help.

I've just seen your film 'Ragtag' and I must say that I am truly impressed. Ms. Nwandu must be commended for her outstanding vision for this film. I am so grateful that you covered the subject of black love in England from such a sensitive and open point of view…Many Americans don't watch foreign films, nor do they watch foreign television programming. Please forgive them. I, on the other hand, have been watching British television shows and movies for the last 20 years. I think this helps me to better understand all kinds of English accents…I'd also like to say thanks to the Philadelphia LGBT Film Festival for choosing your work. I will follow your works in the future Ms. Nwandu. Thanks again.
